page-iifa-2007-logoThe venue for next year's IIFA Awards has been announced. Canada has turned up lucky this time as Toronto was picked as the chosen one. Bollywood actors Vivek Oberoi and Celina Jaitely, in the presence of Ontario's Premier Dalton McGuinty, made the announcement.

A joint release by IIFA and the Ontario government mentioned that the awards will attract close to 40,000 visitors to the city and more than 350 million viewers to television screens. Since South Asians form a major portion of the immigrants in the city, the event will receive huge response and attendence.

The previous editions of IIFA were held at Dubai, Amsterdam, Johannesburg and Bangkok.
