The year 2009 wasn’t so kind to Kareena Kapoor as her movies didn’t fare well at the box office. Critical acclaim evaded her and box office success was negligible. Kambakkht Ishq, Main Aur Mrs. Khanna and Kurbaan failed to acquire anything worth treasuring. Though 3 Idiots did salvage some good points for her towards the end of the year, her 2009 scorecard looks not so encouraging. However, CNNgo has been more generous to her and gave her a position in its ‘15 People Who Mattered Most in 2009′ list. Kareena is one of the three actors from Bollywood to be featured in the list. The other two are Ranbir Kapoor and Abhay Deol.
