Prakash Jha’s star-studded political thriller Rajneeti has received a UA certificate from the censor board after editing out some of the scenes, especially the intimate one involving Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal.

The director stood his ground for almost a week to retain the aesthetically shot intimate scene in the movie. However at the end of it he decided pull back from the fight. Apparently, Arjun Rampal had also requested that the scene be edited out of as his daughter and wife weren’t happy about it.

Jha isn’t pleased with the cuts demanded by the Censor Board which included beeping out the usages of the F-word and verbal abuse in Hindi.

Rajneeti which stars Ajay Devgan, Naseeruddin Shah, Nana Patekar, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Katrina Kaif and Manoj Bajpai will release in India on June 4.
