The makers of the Bollywood edition of Julia Roberts-Susan Sarandon starrer Stepmom have released the first poster of the movie. Titled “We Are Family”, the movie stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles.The poster features Kajol and Kareena in a close up shot with the movie’s tagline prominently displayed at the centre.

The original directed by Chris Columbus had Susan Sarandon in the role of a cancer diagnosed divorcee concerned about the arrival of the new woman in her ex-husband’s life and the future of her children under the care of the prospective stepmother. Julia Roberts essayed the role of the husband’s love interest while Ed Harris took up the role of the husband.

The Bollywood version produced by Karan Johar and directed by Siddharth Malhotra stars Kajol as Arjun Rampal’s ex-wife who in turn has chosen Kareena Kapoor as his second wife.

We Are Family is scheduled for a September release this year.
