Shilpa Shetty and Esha Deol return to the silverscreen
Shilpa Shetty and Esha Deol have been missing from the big screen for a long time. Shipa had been paying attention to her reality TV affairs, business expansion and her marriage till now. Esha on the other hand has had not many offers thanks to the chain of flops which wound up with 2008’s Hijack.
After staying off the grid since 2008, both actresses are staging a comeback in the movie Signature. "The film Signature is a romantic thriller where it shows two women - Shilpa Shetty and Esha Deol, who are somehow mentally ill... and there is Milind Soman who gets trapped between these two women," director Partho Ghosh told in an interview.
"The film was completed almost a year-and-a-half ago. The release got delayed because of some internal brawl between producer and financier. The budget of the film is Rs.6 crore," said Ghosh.
Shilpa and Esha had starred in the action-thriller Dus in 2005 which was the last time they shared screen space.
