Danny Boyle offers role to Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan has always given us the impression that he was seeking recognition from the Western audiences, critics and award juries than the ones back home. If that conception is true, then the actor has reasons to rejoice as none other than Oscar winning Hollywood director Danny Boyle has offered Aamir a role in his new project named Bombay Velvet.
Aamir confirmed the news and said, “Yes I have been offered Danny's film, but I am completely involved with Peepli right now.”
Danny Boyle who shot to fame and acclaim with his movie Slumdog Millionaire won’t be directing Bombay Velvet, but will be standing in as the producer of the movie. Anurag Kashyap will be checking in as director of the movie which is now being referred to as Danny’s next shot at the Oscars.
