Karan Johar’s show Koffee with Karan saw the two pretty ladies, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone coming together for an episode. Though the particular episode created a rift between Johar and Rishi Kapoor over comments made about his son, Ranbir Kapoor, all seems to have worked out for them.

However, the girls who were seen to bond well over the show have denied any rumours of affability between them. Sonam was quick to chip in that the two of them were mere acquaintances. “Deepika and I were never friends. It was just instant chemistry on the show. We have not kept in touch since then. Right now, I am in Chandigarh shooting for Mausam, and god only knows where she is,” confirmed the actress.
