Don’t be baffled! It’s just a role. And this time it is a much coveted role in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film, Heroine. After canning his much talked-about project Heroine due to lack of a suitable actress, Madhur has reportedly decided to revive the film and on his candidates list are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif.

The film is said to be based on the life of Hollywood pin up girl Marilyn Monroe and tells the story of a talented actress who becomes the victim of her own success. Though the film’s script was written keeping Kareena Kapoor in mind, the actress had certain issues with her role in the film and hence did not sign it. Hence the film had to be shelved.

But now UTV, the producers have decided to revive the film and have shown a keen interest in offering the role to Aishwarya Rai. Another choice of heroine for the film is Katrina Kaif. Only time can tell whether it is going to be Ash of Kat who will be essaying the intense role.
