Aamir Khan is busy promoting his latest release 3 Idiots and has given his fans one more reason to watch the movie. The actor is taking a year off and won’t be signing on movies in 2010. But he won’t be getting much time to chill out during the 12 month break from acting. There are three home productions to take care of during this period. Busy holidays ahead for the perfectionist.

Abhinay Deo’s “Delhi Belly”, Anushka Rizvi’s “The Falling” and his wife Kiran Rao’s directorial debut “Dhobi Ghat” are the three movie projects which needs Aamir’s attention. He has informed all the film makers who approached him that it’ll take him close to a year’s time to wrap up his home productions.

Plans to complete and release the three projects in 2010 will materialize only if Aamir sets aside all his acting engagements and concentrates on these three projects. The production and promotion activities of 3 Idiots had taken away Aamir’s time from fine-tuning these movies and putting them in order.

Aamir was reportedly offered close to Rs. 300 million for the roles which he rejected. That’s a lot of temptation to dismiss off. But looks like Aamir Khan is more concerned about his craft and dream projects than the hefty paychecks.
