The action escapade directed by debutant Kookie Gulati drew the crowds due to its power-packed action sequences and the Hollywood-esque styling. The movie is Vivek's return to the role of a solo hero after a long time.

However, more than Oberoi's average popularity rating among movie enthusiasts it was the action and glamour quotient (all those kisses and hotties in bikinis!!!) of Prince which managed to get the attention of the moviegoers.The cast and crew left no stone unturned in promoting the movie as an out and out action movie which will give Hollywood movies a run for their money.Vivek's daredevilry on all levels of action from parkour to bike stunts was highlighted in the trailers and the Facebook page was a smash hit with more than 9,000 fans joining up for updates.
