Priyanka Chopra retained for Krrish 2

Finally Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish sequel is ready to go on the floor. Rumour has it that Priyanka Chopra has been retained to play the leading lady opposite Hrithik Roshan.

Rumours of Deepika Padukone replacing PC has been rubbished with the National Award-winning actress joining the cast once more. PC will once again portray the role of Priya, a journalist working in Singapore. Rekha will also be seen in the sequel playing the role of Hrithik’s grandmother. Besides these actors, Sonia Mehra and Riya Sen will also be seen playing the villan’s girlfriends though the role of the bad guy is yet to be finalized. The location for the movie hasn’t been decided yet.

The first superhero movie in Hindi, the Krrish was a blockbuster hit. Rakesh Roshan had promised a sequel once he is done with the filming of Kites.

Krrish 2 will reportedly tell the story of Krrish saving the Seven Wonders of the World, but the sequel was put on hold for a long time.With an interesting cast and a more exciting storyline, let’s see if Rakesh Roashan can rework his charm.
