Celebrities and social networking sites are the latest head scratchers for movie buffs. The admirers are in desperation to find their idol on the web and to join their friend lists with the obvious aim of chatting with them. But the string of IDs with the celebrity’s name often confuses them as to which one is real and which one is a fake.

The profile name is in line with his upcoming movie – 3 Idiots. It’s not just the name which made us put on our Sherlock Holmes caps. It says that his name is Akash Malhotra, which was the name of Aamir’s character in Dil Chahta Hei. He has an interest in tennis and badminton and is a follower of Calvin and Hobbes comics. With postings coming up at late hours and an album with images of a popular tourist destination in Europe, we are intrigued as to whether this is the perfectionist himself. Idiott’s friends list has crossed the 920 mark by now and is growing at a steady pace.
