After much ruckus concerning the IPL, the Kochi team which is the latest contestant is finally ready to bring its brand ambassadors. It is said that the 'Indi Commandos’ has been in talks with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif to rope them in as brand ambassadors. Kochi IPL Team co-owner Mukesh Patel has confirmed the fact saying, “We are currently talking to Salman and Katrina for endorsement deals.”

Industry observers predict that this would provide the much needed boost to raise the glamour quotient. Katrina has promoted the Bangalore Royal Challengers in the past and Salman was keen on buying a team. IPL has not just been about the cricket, international cheergirls in their short minis. Bollywood has made its significant presence felt with the likes of Shilpa Shetty lending her star power for Rajasthan Royals, Shah Rukh Khan for Kolkata Knight Riders and Preity Zinta for Kings XI Punjab.
