The failure of Hisss and fans gradually losing interest in her hasn’t deterred Mallika Sherawat from charging being exorbitant as far as her fee is concerned. The latest buzz is that she has been paid Rs. 3 crore for two item numbers in Chandrakant Singh's film Bin Bulaye Baarati. The movie features  – a starcast which isn’t blockbuster material any day, we wonder shelling out all that money for a couple of item numbers makes any sense.

"The shooting of the film is already underway in Goa. Anand Milind, who is making a comeback after long, will compose the item songs," says a source. However, co-producer Prakash Jaju was careful with his comments on the buzz. "Yes, she is doing two item numbers and yes she has been signed on for a huge amount but I would not like to discuss finances in print. It's a film for the masses, targeted to single screen audiences. That's why we signed Mallika for the item numbers," said Jaju.
