IHLS collects Rs. 500 million; declared a hit PDF Print E-mail

Dharma Productions’ I Hate Luv Storys directed by debutant Punit Malhotra has been declared a hit as the total worldwide collections of the movie crossed Rs. 500 million (Rs. 50 crore) this weekend. This is the second hit in a row for the production house which started the year with a blockbuster at its hand, My Name Is Khan.

Though the collections of the Imran Khan-Sonam Kapoor starrer have started to slide significantly as it moves to its fourth week, both the producers and the distributors have earned a decent share of the earnings. Considering its hit status, the movie will also fetch a good sum via the routes of CD/DVD, music and satellite rights.
