The action movie was welcomed by moviegoers with huge excitement as hundreds on theatres posted housefull shows throughout the day. Analysts predict Dabangg’s opening weekend to be ahead of 3 Idiots as the response on the first day has been the highest so far this year.
The movie starring Salman as a corrupt cop Chulbul 'Robinhood' Pandey, reportedly opened to 97 per cent occupancy across single screens in India – a figure which the industry hasn’t seen in months.
