Farah Khan’s comic-caper Tees Maar Khan had a robust opening with remarkable first day and first weekend collections. The first week collections of the movie turned out to be Rs. 490 million (Rs. 49 crore) which places it at the 6^th position as far the list of first week top earners are concerned.

However, all is not well for the Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer as collections have started tumbling with negative publicity and miserable reviews. The second week collections have nosedived to Rs. 90 million (Rs. 9 crore) which takes the total collections in the Indian box office to Rs. 580 million (Rs. 58 crore). The overseas market hasn’t been much helpful either which makes it a bit more difficult for the producers to recover the costs. Tees Maar Khan’s chances of being a hit are remote with the drastic falls in both domestic and international circuits.
