The latest Rani Mukerji – Vidya Balan starrer No One Killed Jessica has started off on a strong note at the box office. The movie's opening day net collections were Rs 32.50 million (Rs 3.25 crore). Picking up at the box office over the weekend, it touched net collections of approximately Rs 43 million (Rs 4.3 crore) and Rs 52.50 million (Rs 5.25 crore) on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Released across 600 screens, the total opening weekend collections of movie till date is reported at Rs 126 million (Rs 12.60 crore).

Based on real incidents, No One Killed Jessica features career-best performances from both Rani and Vidya. The movie has been a shot in the arm for Rani’s sinking career and will play a key role in bringing her back to her previous glory. Vidya Balan’s restrained yet mature portrayal of Sabrina Lall has also found appreciation from critics and audience with a fair number claiming it to be superior to her role in Parineeta.
