Yamla Pagla Deewana starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol fetched an impressive opening weekend collections of Rs. 227 million (Rs. 22.75 crore) which places it at the 15^th position in the list of opening weekend record holders.

The movie has been a huge success in Punjab and has succeeded grabbing audiences at single screens across the country. The overseas market has responded positively to the movie too, with a total opening weekend collections of Rs. 70 million (Rs. 7 crore) from all major circuits were it was released.
