Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji nets Rs. 140 million on opening weekend PDF Print E-mail

Two times National Award winner, Madhur Bhandarkar’s experimentation with comedy seems to have paid off to some extent. His romantic comedy, Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji had a moderate opening. But the collections at the box office picked up during the weekend.

The film which brought together Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Omi Vaidya (3 Idiots) grossed Rs 37 million (Rs 3.7 crore) on the first day. But Saturday saw the collection jump to Rs 45.5 million (Rs 4.55 crore). On Sunday, it touched approximately Rs 57.5 million (Rs 5.75 crore).

Overall, the net collection of the movie in the opening weekend stands at approximately Rs 140 million (Rs 14 crore). Looks like Bhandarkar has managed to work his charm once more.
