Anees Bazmee’s multi-starrer comedy Thank You has not lived up to the expectations at the box-office. The movie which stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitley and Rimi Sen has failed to enjoy the opening collections which Bazmee’s previous hits Singh is Kinng and Welcome did.

The opening weekend collections have added up to Rs. 176.5 million (Rs. 17.65 crore) which is pretty ordinary these days and considered below average. For a movie made on a budget of around Rs. 500 million (Rs. 50 crore) this isn’t exactly encouraging. But Bazmee must be relieved that the collections are slightly better than that of his previous wash-out No Problem which managed to collect Rs. 154.9 (Rs.15.49 crore).
